Kamayan Culture

$150.00

This miniature sculpture is my tribute to the Kamayan Feast, also known as a Boodle Fight—a vibrant, communal spread of Filipino dishes traditionally served on banana leaves and eaten by hand. More than just a meal, it represents togetherness, abundance, and cultural pride.

Growing up, food was how we gathered, connected, and celebrated. Creating this piece allowed me to reflect on those memories while also honoring my own artistic journey. Choosing a creative path hasn’t always been easy or traditional, but much like a Kamayan feast, it’s shaped by hand, shared with heart, and rooted in community.

This piece is a celebration of Hiraya Manawari—the hope and determination to turn dreams into reality. I hope it invites others to embrace their passions, take up space, and proudly celebrate their heritage—one handmade piece at a time.

Measures 6” x 7”. Hangable.
